The Costa Blanca is located in one of the best climate zones on the planet, a region characterized by Mediterranean charm. It is rightly called "el autentico Mediterraneo" when talking about one of the most beautiful communities on the Costa Blanca: Teulada - Moraira. It is located directly on the Mediterranean. The small town has managed to maintain its originality despite tourism.

Moraira is nestled between mountains and sea, with a healthy climate and an average annual temperature of 18 degrees Celsius. The climate is characterized by over 300 days of sunshine and the hills that protect it from the cool north.

Depending on the weather conditions, the values can be 5-15 °C higher or lower! The water temperatures fluctuate between 14 °C (Feb) and 28 °C (Aug). On average, you can expect around 45 rainy days a year and an average annual rainfall of 328 mm. The average hours of sunshine fluctuate between 5.8 (Jan), 11.6 (Jul) and 5.7 (Dec). This makes Moraira one of the sunniest, driest and warmest places in all months on the entire Spanish Mediterranean coast. The consistently mild climate on the Costa Blanca is ideal for people with rheumatism, especially older people with respiratory diseases or arthritis. It is therefore not surprising that many senior citizens spend the winter months on the Costa Blanca.
