The Costa Blanca is located in one of the best climate zones on the planet, a region characterized by Mediterranean charm. This makes Moraira one of the sunniest, driest and warmest places in all months on the entire Spanish Mediterranean coast. The consistently mild climate on the Costa Blanca is ideal for people with rheumatism, especially older people with respiratory diseases or arthritis. It is therefore not surprising that many senior citizens spend the winter months on the Costa Blanca.
